In 2016, I launched D&AD Shift: a free night school opening doors into the creative industries for talented people without a degree. It changed lives. But places were limited, and it only ran in a few cities. So how do you give everyone access to Shift? Introducing Shift Campus.
Launched in February 2023 with Google, D&AD Shift Campus is a free four-part online course that introduces new talent to the commercial creative industries, for anyone, anywhere.
I led a small team to bring the Campus to life, from curriculum design, scripting and production through to project management. We designed new ways to make online learning feel engaging and interactive, so learners don't just watch but build their understanding of the industry, explore creative roles and complete a real brief for adidas. Graduates receive a certificate to add to their CV or portfolio.
